Thanks you all the volunteers for making  Uday a huge success , More then 50 volunteers traveled from Bangalore to CR Patna for Event. 
Special thanks to Shashikant, Avinash, Shobhesh, Aditya, Himasri, Shweta, Rajini, Povaiah, Geetha and others for all the efforts they put to Make the event a success.

GIFT YOUR VILLAGE on Saturday 8th January 2011

We are happy to inform you all that the 'Gift your Village' program under Pustaka Abhiyana Project was successfully executed in Yeldur village, Kolar on Jan 8th 2011 at “Sarkari Prathamika Shaale and Sarkari Prouda Shaale”, a  school  adopted by  Aashayein Foundation under the “Karnataka School Nurturing Programme”.
 
As a part of this activity, notebooks were distributed to the kids along with water purifiers, chairs, plastic drums, pencils, erasers and sharpeners.
518 students of this school have benefitted from this programme. These kids will now have access to better study material, hygienic drinking water and sanitation facilities.
 
The kids showcased their talents by performing cultural activities.
 
There were 12 volunteers who contributed to make the event successful. Congratulations to all those volunteers for being a part of this program.

Four-Year-Celebration

Aashayein Foundation started its journey on First Sunday of 2007 with a break fast serving event with five Volunteers. Now after four years we have grown to extent where we have four full programs, centers at three location Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mysore and a Volunteer base of more than 1000 volunteers. More ever we are proud on touching and making difference in lives of thousands of kids from unprivileged families.

This all could happened because of continuous support from our Volunteers, School teachers, Sponsors and other people who where involved directly/Indirectly in one or more programs.

Aashayein Foundation Celebrated its fourth Anniversary on 02nd Jan. 2011 in St. Marys Convent. Below are the activities which were carried out on the day.

Events:

1)       Break fast serving

2)       Celebrated 4 year completion with Cake cutting

3)       Talent recognition (selected children’s’ performed for the group, best child got a prize)0 AM

4)       Prize distribution

5)       Games   

6)       Chocolate distribution
